Kuusi päätä sieltä kurkkii:) Ja sellainen sekamelska että... Ultrasta löydetyt siis tuplaantuivat, ja se pieni aavistus osui oikeaan niitä pantoja ostaessa.

Eläinlääkärikin mainitsi, että eipä ole tämä äiti alkanut viettää seesteistä loppuodotusta. Sen verran säpäkästi nousi kuvauspöydältä pystyyn!Ruskalle on tullut painoa mukavat reilut viisi kiloa, mutta reippain mielin vielä mennä porskutellaan. Lenkeillä olen jo vähän komentanut, kun näyttää meno välillä äityvän hurjaksikin! Ei siis iso reppu vielä paina.Saavat pikkupupsit hyvät ja vauhdikkaat eväät elämään tämän mamman massussa;)

The result of head count was six :) And they all over each other in there... The number was doubled from the ultrasound and my hunch with the collars proved to be true after all.

After the x-raying Ruska jumped up quickly on the table and even the vet commented that this mom definitely doesn't spend her last days of pregnancy in a serene manner! She has gained a healthy five kilos but still keeps going on briskly. On our walks I have started to tell her to slow down when the going gets too tough! The baggage doesn't seem to be too heavy to carry yet. The little pups really get a speedy start for their life in the belly of this fierce mama ;)

Lämpöjä aloin mittailla toissapäivänä, ja ne ovat vielä ihan normaalirajoissa. (Lähinnä tällä rauhoitellaan omaa mieltä;) Ruska on ollut todella pirteä, ruoka maittaa ja kaikinpuolia asiat ovat hienosti. Parina iltana on petaillut, mutta yöt sujuvat vielä rauhallisesti, kunhan se uni saadaan omistajankin silmään...

I started to take the Ruska's temperature a couple of days ago, and they seem to be within normal limits. (This is done mostly for my own peace of mind ;) Ruska has been very alert, she's eating well and everything is fine. Couple of times, she has been making a bed but mostly the nights are peaceful; with the exception of a certain dog owner...

Hanatkin ovat kiillotusta vaille valmiit. Nyt kun malttaisimme ensi viikon lopulle odotella näitä sankareita syntyväksi! / Even the taps are ready to be polished. Now we just have to find patience to wait one more week for these guys to be born!
