Pikku-Ruut ovat muuttaneet pois kotoa, ja emme voi Sarin kanssa olla kuin tyytyväisiä, kuinka hyvät kodit olemme pennuille löytäneet:) Tammikuussa alkaneesta juoksusta alkanut mielenkiintoinen vaihe elämässämme on tullut miltei viiden kuukauden jälkeen tiensä päähän. Ja tästä eteenpäin odotamme Sarin kanssa saavamme teiltä uusilta pennun omistajilta kuvia ja kuulumisia, joita voimme sitten tänne blogiin päivittää muidenkin iloksi:)

Tämän matkan varrelle mahtuu monta ihmistä, joita käy kiittäminen! Astutusmatkalle lähtiessämme, Itävallassa ja paluumatkalla, teitä on monta! Ultraääntä jännitti aika monet blogin lukijat, ja kun synnytys lopulta koitti, minulla oli täällä Maarit ja Jaana apuna, sekä Sari skypen kautta. Pentuvieraita on käynyt läheltä ja kaukaa, kiitos teille kaikille, samoin kuin kaikille pentuja kysyneille kiinnostuksestanne!

Blogissa on vieraillut ihmisiä ympäri maailman, sen mahdollisti meille Hietalan Jaana alkessaan kääntämään näitä juttujamme englanniksi. Ja Jannella on riittänyt kärsivällisyys, vaikka usein väsyneenä on tullut vähän tiuskittua;)

Toivomme Sarin kanssa kaikkea parasta Ruska-Sock pennuille ja uusille omistajilleen! Ruskalle on suunnitelmissa toinenkin pentue,ehkä 2010-2011, ajankohta on vielä avoin.(vaikka Sari eilen kysyikin, että mahdankohan enää tähän alkaa, kun Nuoska sylissäni siellä itkeskelin...)

Päivitän blogia jatkossakin, tosin tahti tulee nyt vähän harvenemaan.

Tärkeintä ei ole päämäärä, vaan sen varrella oleva matka.Ja tämä matka jatkuu vielä pitkään!

The little Ruus have left home and Sari and I are so happy how good homes we have found for the pups :) The exciting phase which started in January by Ruska's heat is now over, after nearly five months. And now Sari and I are waiting for receiving photos and news from the new owners so we can share them here in the blog for others to enjoy :)

There are so many people to thank for their help along this journey! On our way to Austria and back, thank you all!  There were a lot of people who waited for the ultrasound. And finally, when the time of whelping became, I had Maarit and Jaana here with me, and Sari via Skype. People from close and far have visited us to see the pups. Thank you and also those of you who contacted us regarding the pups!

There have been people reading the blog around the world and it was possible because Jaana Hietala has translated my stories in English. And Janne, he has been so patient even if I have been snapping at him when I have been tired ;)

Sari and I wish all the best for the Ruska-Sock pups and their new owners!There are plans to mate Ruska gain, perhaps in 2010 or 2011, the exact time is still open. (Althoug yesterday, when Nuoska was whining in my lap, Sari asked me whether I would do this again...)

I will update the blog in the future, too, but more seldom.

It's the journey, not the destination. And this journey will continue for a long time!
